In 2015, Ontario’s Ministry of Education introduced changes to the province’s sex education curriculum. This workshop provides a detailed overview of sex education for grades 1-8. Ontario parents can learn about the rationale for the updates and gain insight into the age-appropriateness of the content. They will also learn why classroom lessons are an opportunity to talk to their children about sexual facts and values at home. An ideal presentation for parent councils.
